Remember when i said i'm coming back bigger and better?
Well, apart of that is also making a lifestyle change.
Growing up
:p
It's been awhile that my constant irresponsible partying ways have left me.
I'm now eating better (or i try to), working out, and getting all workaholic on things.
(Maybe just to save up for a GTR)
Back when i was younger (haha, says someone who just turned 20), to say my partying ways were crazy was plain out sugar-coating it. As much as i'd like to say i enjoy the amount of fun i had, getting all sloshed, partying up and traveling for gigs, i'm also guilty for the couple of times i drove while being intoxicated.
If you ever saw a girl driving on the wrong side of the road in KL about two years ago at 2am, that may be me.
*facepalm*
Which is why i totally support CODE FRIDAY: Be in control, if you drink, don't drive!
I mean, i can't stay away from fun forever. But i detest that groggy feeling the next morning, and of course road-related mishaps.
So the best solution is to get the best of both worlds!
;)
My last Friday's party plans was Neverland (a new club opening soon by the way) as Pernod Ricard was launching their new CSR campaign to encourage responsible drinking among partyers, like you and i.
The entrance to Neverland.
Vain asses like me super love the mirrored entrance to the club!

I arrived early after rock climbing, which made me feel totally healthy
(sports+ controlled drinking)
It was great seeing everyone again after so long of being MIA!
That's CK by the way, MD of Pernod Ricard Malaysia, launching CODE FRIDAY.
CODE FRIDAY calls out to partyers like us (aged 18 - 35) to adopt a new responsible drinking attitude while having fun. I'm sure most of you have, at one point in your life, drove while under the influence. If you can't walk straight, what makes you think you can drive straight?
O.O
After all, do you really need that 20 shots of tequila to have fun?
Pernod Ricard also adopted the Quick Response (QR) code for those of you who just don't have time to log on to pledge to drink responsibly. See that code? You just have to scan it using your smartphone to pledge!
Well, since you're reading this:
Log on!
Many bar owners and alcohol-related businesses even took the pledge to ensure and support responsible drinking.
After 1st October, you'll find pretty CODE FRIDAY ladies around popular clubs & bars in KL to help you pledge to responsible drinking via their iPad app. You don't have to get drunk every Friday night, ya know?
;)
Make sure you say hi to them and pledge!
Even I voluntarily did!
Supah proud for someone who used to be known as an alcoholic!
Michelle is in control, with Pernod Ricard MD!
Of course, if you happen to see those girls around where you're partying, take it as a reminder that how your night turn out depends on how you drink.
If you don't control...
No, you don't get a jail like this!
(credit to Sam)
A great way to drink responsibly is by controlling how much you take in and make sure there's a sober designated driver all night.
I only had two drinks. Even with that, i didn't drive.
Don't drink and drive!
Be in control, with me?
;)
Everyone, in control and looking good!
kisses.
