Espress Cafe with Jaz Fresh

[Advertorial]

Besides BKT and that Fried chicken stall Sean brought my gang, I'd never imagine there's anything worth traveling for in Klang.
Yes, ol' ignorant me.

But thanks to Jaz Fresh, we were introduced to a little hang out spot for food and beer.

Seriously people, bring me to Klang more often. I keep hearing of the superb food there.
(You drive though, too far for me)
LOL.

Espress Cafe is a corner lot located just opposite Klang's huge ass Jusco Bukit Tinggi.

We couldn't find it at first due the cows that were blocking the roads.
Yea, apparently Klang has cows.

Sean never warned me of this, and he's all the way in Aussie now.

You can either dine indoor or al fresco.
It's well laid out.
Families are more likely to dine indoors since I seen alot of people my age lepaking outside with beer and snacks in hand.

We sat inside though, since we wanted to catch up.

Wore my jersey to show my support that day!

The girls and I shared coffee and tea before stuffing ourselves.

Caramel cappucino with Hazelnut syrup RM 6.50 + Rm 1.40
Local iced coffee RM 3.90
Iced caffe mocha RM 8.50
Chamomile tea RM 3.50

Owh, I seriously gotta thank Jaz Fresh for all the awesome food they bring us to, and for complimenting our meals.

 Mei Sze and Sarah.

We were stuffing ourselves out over some local and western cuisine, while catching up with the gossip around.
I still miss out quite abit from my disappearance to UK.

 Tom Yam soup RM 5.90

Spicy food! How can I say no?
My food has got to be the spicier the better (or the fattier the better).
Just don't wash it down with a cold drink too quickly though, messes with your tummy.

 Spaghetti Napolitana RM 8.20

Swallow Fried Lamb Chop RM 16.90

Not too bad a choice. Interesting name, swallow bird x lamb meat?
The meat was a little tough but the gravy is savoury and sweet at the same time.

 Nasi Lemak Rendang RM 9.20

I highly recommend this. I hardly ever find well-cooked nasi lemak with fresh ingredients and fragrant rice with just the right santan:rice ratio. It's just nice here paired with flavourful sambal.
The sambal is not too spicy so that probably turned me off abit, but it was perfect for the rest!

Teriyaki Chicken Bowl Rice RM 8.50

A Japanese like dish, except it was topped with an omellete. The gravy was sweet, though not overbearing the juicy-ness of the chicken or the fluffy-ness of the rice.
A very savoury dish which reminds me of chicken katsu-don.

We were served a couple more dishes before dessert and snacks.
And Sarah, being Sarah tried to show us how to seduce a beer keg.
Whaaatttt?
LOL.

LMAO!
Our lil' drama queen.
(Psst, she's performing in the current ongoing Cabaret production at KLPAC *hinthint*)

 Snow Ice RM 5.30

This is the first time I'm having this, no kidding.
And I wonder to myself, where have I been all my life.
T__T
Guilty pleasure food, man.

Of course this, I've had since I was probably a kid (or ever since I decided beer is my favourite drink of all time).

Chicken Fried Crackers RM 5.90 & Fried Chicken Nuggets  RM 6.90

Beer food!
If you're there for a lepak session or a football sesh, you can't go wrong with these.
They are like bite-size sins.
The Chicken Fried Crackers are technically deep friend chicken fat with their skin intact. And they taste like keropok, I tell you that.

Taiwanese Chicken Chop RM 6.50

Yupp, they have these too!
They taste just like the ones you get from pasar malam.

Washing everything down with a pint of Jaz Fresh is the perfect end of the night (and a very stressful week).
I've been so caught up with assignments and some personal productions on my own.
Picking up some new skills as personal goals.

I'm uber grateful that I'm often treated to good food, and of course good beer, to just wrap up my week just nicely.

Jaz Fresh is great cause it contains no preservatives or even additives, and they have a notable amount of 'live' yeast. This means it's full of vitamin B and nutriens like chromium.

We had our fix at exactly 3 degrees celcius, which is the perfect temperature for Jaz Fresh. The cloudy, medium bodied beer incorporates German technology of traditional brewing so if the taste seems familiar, you know why.
