Last Day of 09. What's Your Verdict?

It still hasn't hit me yet, that by tomorrow, it will be a whole new year.
I just got used to writing 2009 2009 2009.
By tomorrow it will 2010.

Can you believe it?

I've been going on and on about how much 2009 has been a huge change for me. How much i did in 2009, yadi yadi yada. But the truth is, everything has been pretty much the same, nothing has really changed when i think about it. It's just the way i see things that's been different. The way i choose to live my life, yea, that has changed.

I'm gonna cut this short, you guys are probably rushing to whatever your NYE plans are.

Whatever 2010 will give you, or not give you, learn to take each day as a gift of itself, because it is in each and every single one of these days that makes you who you are and who you will be, that will bring you a step closer to your dreams.

Believe that, at the end of each and every single day, there is something to be grateful of. That there is light somewhere at the end of the tunnel, even if you can't see it just yet, there is.

Because here's a little secret:
In the end, everything falls into place.

"I've reached an age where i stopped wishing upon stars, but that does not mean i stopped dreaming."

Embracing 2010, let's all end 2009 with a bang, shall we?
Happy New Year everyone ;)
kisses.

I Worked For Channel V!

There's so many things i wanna say about this but with the amount of pictures, i'm not gonna bore everyone else more with my words.
Long story short, after my trip to PD, before the Playboy event, i received an email from Channel V, offering to fly me to Hong Kong to their studio to co-host one episode of Channel V Countdown.

Excited but suspicious. After convincing my parents, i flew. Alone.
Taking all the risks that this just may be a scam to try to transport drugs.

LOL.

But it was pretty legit when i got the email cause they arranged the flight number and everything for me efficiently.
Flight and 5 star hotel stay was provided plus a couple hundred USD for shopping money ;)

He sent me off.
Cue awwww.

I was put on MAS thank god. The view was beautiful, i couldn't stop taking my LX3 out.

When i arrived, i only got into the hotel at 12a.m.

Note the extravagant breakfast spread the next morning.
Which included Sirloin Beef Steak.
I heart this place.

I met the Channel V team for breakfast and we all sorta pigged out on German Sausages, Steak and Fresh Danish Pastries.

At hair and make up.
She gave me very little make up though. I'm guessing they're going for the natural look.
:(

My co-host, VJ Paula.

The hotel overlooks the river.

Owh and food in Hong Kong is not cheap. This was taken at a normal coffee shop. A Coke Light cost $17 which is approx RM8-9.
Can dieeeee.

The episode aired that Saturday, when i was out partying.

Time; The Best Gift You Can Give To Your Loved Ones Every Christmas, And It Never Goes Out Of Fashion.

"A lesson finds the common denominator and links us all together, like a chain. At the end of that chain dangles a clock, and on the face of the clock registers the passing of time. We see it and we hear it, the hushed tick-tock, but often we don't feel it. Each second makes its mark on every single person's life- comes and then goes, quietly disappearing without fanfare, evaporating in to the air like steam from a piping hot Christmas pudding. Enough time leaves us warm; when out time is gone, it leaves us cold. Time is more precious than gold, more precious than diamonds, more precious than oil or any valueble treasures. It is time of which we do not have enough; it is time that causes the war within our hearts, and so we must spend it wisely. Time cannot be packaged and ribboned and left under trees for Christmas morning.

Time can't be given. But it can be shared."

-The Gift, Cecelia Ahern.

It's a little bit too late to wish my fellow readers Merry Christmas but i bet you had a good one.
Christmas was mellow for me, which was spent with my girls, 2 days straight.
Smoke. Liquor. Smoke.

Oh, the joy.

Anyone heading to Beetroots this New Year's Eve?
kisses.

FHM Girl Next Door 2010

Just i think, days before i had to leave for Hong Kong to co-host for Channel V, i had an extremely busy weekend.
The day started with me waking up early after another night out, to make my way to Jalan Loke Yew to pick up some Cheap Winter Clothing. Honestly, it wasn't that bad but obviously a prefer a Burberry trench to accompany me on my trip. After getting lost and all that shit, i had to rush from Loke Yew all the way to Damansara for the FHM Girls media appearance at Malaya Optical.

And all that was before i had to rush home at 4p.m. for my ballet class.

Jesz, myself.

My day started out bad.
I don't even know where i stand right now, or what i'm supposed to think about.

Nothing much to be said about that.

Have you got your December issue of FHM yet?
It's got a calender in it ;)

Let's Wrap Up 2009, Shall We?

Things have gotten so busy around here that if you scroll down on your right sidebar you'd see at the Archive column that my number of posts went down like mad.
Blogging used to be how i let my thoughts roam. It helped to make my thoughts just a little bit clearer when i put it down in words. Cause when i re-read my own posts, i analyze my own words and figure myself a little bit more.

Aurea's 19th @ Luna Bar

Totally psycho, i know.

Right now i'm on a one month mid-semester break. We were assigned countless assignments but i've not even touched ONE. I've been working mostly, and catching up with people i never have time for and figuring what to do with the rest of my life.

Posing aje.

2009 is coming to and end, and it feels like just last week it was the end of 2008. I'm gonna be 19 soon and it freaks me out. Somehow leaping from 18 to 19 seems HUGE to me. Career-wise, i have no idea what to do from here. I'm not great with things staying stagnant, i like change, and i like it when things move forward and progresses. But the thing is, i just started in the industry, what more can i do besides modeling for events and maybe a couple of small scaled shoots? I can't expect much out of my career right now, i know, but i can't stand it being that way either.

I think i feed on change and the adrenaline rush of new things.

She made me take this okay!

I've never been like this, i've always played safe when i was younger. But then i realized i'm never going anywhere if i don't take risks. So i pushed myself to do things i'm afraid of, push myself pass that borderline every single time. And most times, at the end of the day, i feel great.
Maybe i feed on that feeling.

So when i don't get the chance anymore, it sure hell sucks.

Ending the post with a retarded face.

What's next for me? Time can only tell.

kisses.

Playboy Fragrance Exclusive Launch

A couple of weeks back (since i'm so late on posts now), just the day i got back from Port Dickson, i made my way to the Playboy Fragrance launch i was invited to. I was already dead tired but, thank gawd not hung over, after PD, but i RSVP-ed and promised Xaviera i would be there.

And well, it's Playboy and with the ever impressive list of guests, i knew i would regret it if i missed out.
I already missed out so many events.

Had a date with me of course.

The iconic Playboy brand threw a highly-exclusive and stylish party at the Heritage Mansion that evening to celebrate the launch of four irresistible Playboy Fragrances in Malaysia, namely the Hollywood Playboy, Malibu Playboy, Miami Playboy, and Vegas Playboy.

Jojo Struys and Toh Kong Eu presented two sets of eye-catching rhythmic Jazz tap performance with live percussionist, Justin from the Aseana Percussion Unit.

About 150 other guests, who are the elites of the social scene (i'm an elite??? WHAT?) in Kuala Lumpur, including JoJo Struys, Elaine Daly, Jehan Miskin, Tony Eusoff, Joey G, Owen Yap, Serena C and many more, the launch party, titled ‘Press To Play’ revolved around the bedazzling world of Playboy’s suave sophistication and celebrity glamour.

After Jojo’s highly entertaining dance performance, celebrity DJ Joey G took charge of the night over at the Miami dance floor and spun some infectious sexy house music that had every guest in the house fully spell-bounded till the end of the night.

Well of course, I bumped into Tim from FHM magazine, and Arthur and the rest from the team.

After everything settled down, i of course was so kepoh that i went to sniff thereevery single scent there is (even though it's for guys).
So if you're wondering which scent suit you the most:

Hollywood Playboy
Smooth and sophisticated, the man wearing Hollywood Playboy is in the scene and
out to be seen. Spot him on the red carpet or at an exclusive LA party with a rich
socialite hanging off his arm. Or join the party at his house in the Hollywood Hills
with the vintage Corvette convertible parked in the driveway.
Well, my date for that night had fun.

Malibu Playboy
Life is one long beach party for the effortlessly cool, tanned and athletic guy who
wears the Malibu Playboy fragrance. If he’s not surfing or chilling out by the pool,
he’s cruising the waterfront in his SUV. Admired for his clean, casual sense of style,
he’s never without his two favorite accessories: designer sunglasses and a beautiful
babe.

Miami Playboy
The man who wears Miami Playboy is suave, seductive and sexy. Check out his
modern waterfront house, super-sleek yacht and flashy sports car. No wonder he is a
hit with the ladies. Find him hanging out at South Beach’s hippest poolside bars or
dancing to the coolest DJs. The party never stops for this pleasure-seeker.

Vegas Playboy
A high rolling daredevil, the guy that wears Vegas Playboy lives life on the edge and
to excess. Always dressed with panache, his life is all about limos and private jets,
casinos and exclusive parties. A risk-taker, he’s attracted to the wilder side of life
whether it be gambling or mysterious women.

So take your pick guys.
Get girls to fall in love with you in a whiff.

I personally prefer Miami Playboy, so you know which to wear around me.
;)

Complete with free flow of champagne and cocktails and the ever awesome goodie bags, guests went home satisfied and liquor filled.
Myself included.

kisses.

When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Goes Drinking (And Topless)

If you follow my twitter here, you would've known that my college mates and i drove all the way to Port Dickson last semester just to drink.

I know that this post was due weeks ago, but hey, my laptop broke down so what can i do?

The reason behind the trip?
Kent had never gotten drunk, not ever.
He's the nicest guy i've ever met, i tell you, playing driver to the less fortunate and car-less whenever we're out partying. Hence, he has never gotten drunk, since he's always the one driving.

So we went through with it, without knowing the directions or relying on google maps.

Crazy?
Not really.

I hated the beach.
I've only ever holiday-ed at private beaches so this is new to me.

We thought this sign was funny. Reminded us of a certain tall chinese girl in class ;)
Right, Joan?

Owh, did i mention i beat Suzuki in Tekken 5?
And it's my first time playing :D

There was Cruz, Kent, Azhar, myself, William and Suzuki.

I know, so not enough.

Told you.
Topless.

Aha, ass crack.

I heart my teddy :p

Who was down by the end of the night?
Kent. William. Azhar (sorta).

I survived!

So it took 2 cars and an hour drive down to P.D. to get Kent drunk.

Worth it?
Definitely.

It has been declared the best night by Kent so far. And with so many uncensored pictures and confession videos, it's hard to describe the night in words and still doing it justice.

;)

kisses.
