2009, here we come.

In about 28 hours time, it will be 2009. Funny how the year past so fast. Anyway, let's not get all teary eyed bout it alright?

Tomorrow morning will be spent getting a tan (not that i need it) with Eshia, Nicole, Jack, Shawn and William. The night would most likely be spent with the guys at Alexis.

So pour out the champagne (or vodka) and let's all look forward to a year filled with pure fun, laughter and memory making moments.

The Past

Yesterday was Fat Day. I made Carbonara and she made Chicken soup. We gulped down vodka at night and danced to Tambourine.

Year 2008

When Vik, HouMing and I were talking, we looked back on year 2008 and realised i grew up alot. They just realised that they're getting old (du-uh, 20 next year).

2008 was a year of lessons, pain, resentment, love, pure bliss, experiences, living life and growing up.

In 2008, i learned how much hurt comes out from being cheated on and cheating on your partner. That it's really not worth it. I learned that everyone makes mistakes and everyone changes. I learned how easily one can lose himself, the feeling of your partner losing himself. The pain of being lied to and betrayed.

I learned that losing a friend or a loved one is not necesarily a bad thing, sometimes it's even for the better.

I learned to open my mind to different people and different views, dare to experience more and taste more of life.

I learned that sometimes all it takes to be happy is not care.
Dare to chase your dreams, as crazy as they may be, and leave those that is just out to bring you down behind.

I learned about being honest to my parents about my life.
I learned about prioritising my life between love, friends, play and work (still learning to do that).

I learned the rules of being in a long term steady relationship. And how wonderful it is to be in one.

The ultimate lesson of all; life.

Christmas still..

Let's see, Christmas eve was Daniel's/ Vik's dinner. William dropped by while i got ready since Daniel's house is like few houses from mine, just jalan jalan then his house ady. So we went over at 3p.m. to help with the cooking (yes, i can cook). I actually touched raw meat, the disgusting-ness of it just turns me off. While William, Vik and I were slaving in the kitchen, Daniel was playing PlayStation =.=

When it was our break, William and I played Guitar Hero and i kicked his ass at it!
Ian is so adorably annoying, geez. Little kid actually locked me out in the kitchen. Fuckerrrrrr..

When the rest came, the cooking wasn't even done. There was Lionel, Aurea, Tracy, Jeff, Ryan, WinAun, HouMing and two other chinese dudes.

From the kitchen, i was covered in oil when Eshia showed up for 5 minutes. I shrieked gila gila happy :D

HouMing challenged me to an onion eating thing, we had raw huge ass french onions as the centerpiece and he challenged me to take 3 bites of it and he take 6. I actually did. And it wasn't bad at all. Lol. You should have seen the look on Tracy's face "Michelle! Think before you do something stupid!" Funnay shit.

Food was incredibly awesome. Company too. We counted down to midnight and sipped on bitter red wine while Vik was singing Gawd knows what song all night.

Lionel fucking freaked me out when he lifted the couch i was sleeping on =.= Aurea mesti pukul.

Since i bought them 42 bellow, we wanted to head to HouMing's house to drink.

Drank drank drank, Tracy's lame jokes, drank more.
Blackjack and Vik humping Daniel's head pussy was the ultimate highlight. They made me dance on the chair.

Then we talked about the things we're thankful for in year 2008 and our plans for 2009.

Pretty homely Christmas, it was nice.
Wished my sayangs were there though.

Christmas Dinner Date

So, after making cards and distributing them, William dropped by cause i promised i'm his for the night. William actually came an hour earlier and lied to us, cause he wanted to get me a suprise gift. So when he showed up, we were at the Gardens art shop.

I was caught by suprise. I was just talking to Eshia bout how the guys better be grateful i got them a bottle of 42 below for Christmas, when suddenly someone grabbed me by the waist from behind.

I shrieked.

So after shopping at GUESS and 2201 fashion avenue for a while and dropped Eshia off, William and I had a dinner date at Italiannies for the second time. His friend served us.

I love dinner dates and the things we talk about :)

This year, in the spirit of Christmas and the joy of giving, we decided to give out cards to our most frequented shops. We slaved all morning at Borders Starbucks (our latest lepak spot),being ridiculously stupid, just talking and running around to get supplies.

When we went to MPH to get the really pretty soy milk papers (oh-so-orgasmic), i was all :D

We gave to Starbucks, Miss Selfridge, Topshop, Guess? and Sole What. Sorry to SUB, Coach, Borders, MPH and the rest.

Monday Morning Blues

Just got back from the driving lesson. The one that they teach you bout the engine and how to change the tyres and such.

Seriously, it was pure torture. Especially for someone who's lacking of so much of sleep. The lecture, fine, it was the typical routine everyone has to go through but too draggy, and too many unnecessary breaks for the lecturers.

The system needs a good fix.

Weekend was spent in KL and dinner parties. Shopping with Eshia, mamak with Nic. Few rounds of vodka at The C.Club coming home at 4a.m..

The C.Club is actually a really nice place, with superbly excellent service and a very nice view of the KL night. Eventhough my Visa had errors and we ended up paying in cash, it was unforgettable.

Booze no longer gets me high now, sugar does. And i'm pretty scary when i'm high, spinning on chairs, falling down and yelling "I want sugarrrrrrrrrrr".

Christmas

And in the spirit of that, I'm going Christmas shopping in about.. 3 hours?
That is if he's still talking to me.

I don't actually celebrate Christmas, at least, not my family. So there's no Christmas tree or exchange of gifts or any other things like that at home. Each one of us head out on our own, so much for spending time with family.

So there's tomorrow, at B's place. Then Christmas eve probably at the beach. Christmas day would be William's family dinner. Then there's Aunt Grace's house i think. And Daniel's.

Today was the day.
My Undang Test.
Believe it or not, i did not study one bit. I only started reading around 9 something last night after putting this away. And guess what i scored.

My Prom

Was at Holiday Villa, Subang with my love, Nic.

Went to Midvalley then Pavilion to get my reserved GUESS dress after a round of pool with my baby doll. Lol.

In the cab, i got scammed cause the meter was tempered and the driver was using the meter with the running horse picture which was so bloody distracting. Geez.

When William came over, Pacad picked me up together with his Armani suit in his BMW and of all the songs Fall For You had to come on. When we reached Nic's place, helped her get dress, Shawn was asking for his girlfriend, Eshia. Funny hyper kid, i love him.

TV came and he was so jealous i kept calling Pacad cute, cause well he just looks so adorable out of his usual tshirt and jeans. But seriously, cut your hair dude.
Picked up TV's date which was so funny.

Prom was pretty okay, met up with Jesweena and Iffah. Food was good, had fun. The music was really bad though so William and i went out for walks by the pool in the night.

We talked and slow danced by the pool to the music that was playing from the ballroom.
Honestly, it was just like out of a romantic movie, i couldn't help but smile.

We went back in only to leave again cause everyone was getting cold so we went to the pub nearby for drinks, Vodka Lime, which i think would be my usual for now.

Danced to House music. The good music only came on when the prom ended. Sucked cause i was in the mood to get on stage again.

Kevin was avoiding me for the night for quote, your boyfriend is here tonight, unquote.

After party, called some connections, pulled some strings and got into the club. On a Tuesday night so it was not so happening. Good to finally see Que though.

Speaking of prom, we crashed Saujana's last week.

We didn't plan to attend the prom or the rave or the after party we were invited to.
But coincidentally Eshia and I were at Gardens, shoppping so we dropped by just for a look and to give her little sister a suprise of me.
Seriously, people wouldn't stop staring cause everyone was so dressed up while i was in a tshirt and skirt and Eshia just looks like some kinky school girl from a porno.

Through our friends, we got in before everybody did.

Spent Sunday at church (shocker right?) cause Eshia was performing, she made me go.
I got a video of her, she was really good, eventhough at every chorus break, she was coughing. Spent the night at Old Town Kopitiam with the her family and KokFei so planned to meet her mum for lunch the next day. Spent the rest of the night at William's place.

Monday was spent with school mates, finally met KimLoong after weeks. Miss him like crazy. He said that my brown hair makes me look very different.
After went to KL with Amelia and WeiYing, met up with KokFei, Amir, and Eshia's family. Had lunch with her mum.

Then we walked over to Starhill cause her mum gotta pick out a gift box for Michelle Yeoh (yes, her). So we took our time trying on Marc Jacobs and Valentino, shopping at Khoon Hooi and looking at the pretty diamonds.

Lives lost, tears shed, hearts broken.

These unexpected things that happen to us everyday, the amount of grief it causes is unimaginable.
Before we know it, the people and the things we love the most is taken away, and never returned back.
Most of us talk about never taking our life and the things around us for granted but somehow we ourselves end up doing the exact same thing we tell ourselves never to do.
I know I'm guilty of that too.

I can't imagine my life without my family and my friends and my boyfriend.
I love all of them to bits and i know at one point, i don't show that i appreciate them enough, i take them for granted.

As i am sometimes taken for granted.

Maybe that's how it is, that we're all really not that fully appreciated as we should be.
So i'm taking 5 minutes to tell all of you, who are a part of my life, a part of who i am and the making of me.
